About These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Buyback Central website and the trade-in services offered through it. By submitting a device for trade-in, you agree to these terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use this service. By submitting an offer, you represent that you are the lawful owner of the device, that it is not stolen, lost, or reported as such, and that it is free of any outstanding financial obligation, carrier lock, or activation lock unless otherwise disclosed.
How Offers Work
Instant offers are estimates based on the information you provide about your device. Your offer is locked for 32 days from the date it is issued, giving you time to ship your device and still receive the quoted price. Offers are subject to change following physical inspection if the device's actual condition differs from what was described.
Shipping
After accepting an offer, you are responsible for packaging and shipping your device according to the instructions provided. Buyback Central is not responsible for devices lost or damaged in transit to the extent such loss or damage is caused by the shipping carrier, except as otherwise required by law.
Inspection and Revised Offers
Upon receipt, your device will be inspected to confirm its condition matches what was submitted. If a discrepancy is found, we will provide a revised offer. You may accept the revised offer, in which case payment will be processed at the revised amount, or decline it, in which case we will return the device to you.
Payment
Payment is issued using the payout method selected during your transaction, following successful inspection of your device. Payment timing and methods available may vary and will be confirmed to you during the offer process.
Prohibited Devices
We do not purchase devices that are reported lost or stolen, or that are subject to an unresolved financial obligation, carrier blacklist, or activation lock that has not been disclosed and resolved.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Buyback Central's liability arising from your use of this service is limited to the amount of the offer associated with the applicable transaction. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
